Join us at The Capitol Theatrefor Maryville’s first Taste of Mardi Gras Gala February 18, 2012. The event will feature true Cajun tastings from The Shrimp Dock, specialty cocktails from Red Man Group and New Orleans tunes from Pistol Creek Catch of the Day and Cinemagic!

"Like" our Taste of Mardi Gras Gala page on Facebook to study up for your chance to catch beads and Moonpies for answering trivia questions throughout the night.

Guests are encouraged to come in costume to compete for the title of King and Queen of the Carnival. A live auction will help raise money to support our Little Listeners Scholarship, which provides funding for auditory therapy for children. Join us for your chance to bid on an experience such as a guided wildflower hike in the Smokies, a day on the range shooting high-power military rifles or a 2-week stretch on a digital billboard from Lamar Advertising for your business or special event. There's something for everyone!

Reserved tables of 8 are available for $400 and include a complimentary bottle of champagne upon arrival. Individual tickets are available for $45. A VIP Bourbon Tasting will take place later in the evening in the Game Room. Tickets to this VIP tasting are an additional $50 and can be purchased at the event.
